Number Slate
Detailed DVD Rental Internet Service
$9.95
This service wasn't as impressive as the other picks. Though it offers some nice features like a free trial we disliked the DVD circle idea. DVD "circle" means that when you're done with a DVD you send it on to the next user. This option sounds a bit unstable though, as it could be hard to trust an unknown sender to address an item to you and supply postage. Plus this means you could spend a heavy chunk on postage for someone you don't know!

Detailed Review of Number Slate
Membership Advantages
Like we said the benefits are pretty spare. A free trial is nice and no due dates is always great. We can't really add much more to the benefits package.
Title Selection
The selection was quite small compared to giants like Blockbuster and Netflix. We predict you'll have problems finding the movies you really want.
Delivery Speed
Number Slate's DVD Circle means that you rely on other Number Slate members to ship your DVDs. So delivery speed could be expedient, or it could be extremely slow. We'd rather not take our chances.
Pricing Plan
Only one. Though the lone plan is a low price of $9.95, consider the postage you'll need to pay. Blockbuster has a $9.95 plan that doesn't require you to be the shipping center.
Movie Search Options
The search options are typical. Browse by genre or search by keywor, actor or cast and crew.
